Telethon 2009 is over, and the sum of money raised yesterday almost reached US $16 million! Thanks to everyone who made donations an ancient Armenian town Shushi will be revived
We’ll be back soon with photos and stories, hopefully. For yes - we were there, too, singing the Telethon 2009 song which all of you already know, don’t you?
News? Who said it always has to be news we share? This time we’ve got some outdated information to share with you, so be prepared
We’ve taken part in the Yerevan-Transit project, brought by Sharm Holding. Again. It’s great fun - singing songs we’ve known since childhood but in absolutely new and unique arrangement in duo with talented artists from around the globe. We’ve already recorded a song for Yerevan-Moscow-Transit (4th Edition) several years ago and were happy to take part once again - this time in collaboration with Ukrainian musicians from Druga Rika (Друга Рiка), a popular rock band we really enjoyed working with. We performed “Im Yerevan”, a well-known song for almost every Armenian out there.
Bulgakov and his two Margaritas
Yerevan-Kiev went live in Ukraine with a breathtaking concert show on October, 31st. We were there, too, among all of those talented performers, who had great time sightseeing in Kiev, meeting all those interesting people and singing for them, eventually, because no matter how much we liked walking around in the streets of Ukrainian capital, the concert was yet the main purpose of our trip. The town was beautiful, and we even sat beside Mikhail Bulgakov, one of our favorite writers ever. That was a dreamy experience, really, see how happy we are on the photo with him?
Did we mention we had a party, too?
We also did some shopping and collected a lot of souvenirs, but then again - who wouldn’t? If you want to see some photos from the concert, then you’re more than welcome to our Gallery. While the song we performed for Yerevan-Transit project can be previewed here. We’ll let you know as soon as the CD is out. Cheers! And sorry for this looong and maybe somehow boring post, but that’s all we’ve got today!
Greetings, everyone! It seems like we’re not going to let you live a single day with no news from us, huh?
You can find two new music videos in the Videos section of our website, one of them, “Don Hay” you’ve probably already seen, so we’d better present you the other one, “Menq Enq Mer Sarere“, picked by “Hayastan” All Armenian Fund for its 2009 Telethon:
And now that you’ve seen this video - feel free to visit our gallery and take a look at behind-the-scenes photos from the shooting of “Menq Enq Mer Sarere”. It was a great experience for us and a lot of fun, too. You’ll see, we were smiling all along the process
And just for the record - Kamoblog.am has published a nice article about us with a lot of pictures from the album presentation and more, you can read it right here. If you’ve read any other interesting reviews or wrote one yourselves, share the links in the comments, we’d love to read them!:)
The presentation of our new album was held yesterday at The Club. In case if you’re wondering - yes, that is the name of a club in Yerevan, a very nice and cozy place which was perfect for yesterday’s event. We talked a lot, drank some delicious Armenian wine and sang.
Our brand-new album entitled “Heartbeat of My Land” (Menq Enq Mer Sarere) is going to be officially released tomorrow, on November 17th.

For some time we tried to avoid the goods of civilization, to get maximally
close to our roots. Those days helped us a lot in working on our new songs.
And now we want to present a short version of one of them… “Don Hay”.

P.S. We have some troubles with our website, it is currently being edited, so don’t be surprised if something doesn’t work properly.
Hello everyone:) Sorry for leaving you without our posts so long. We missed you:)
Now me - the show-offy Inga, will share a video with you, which touched us so much… A girl, a dancer, had her first concert dancing through one of our most favorite songs “Dino”. Beautiful… Keep it up, Anahit:)
We were shocked by the news today that the King of Pop Michael Jackson passed away. It’s really hard to say something… His contribution to world’s music is huge and many-many performers will continue to learn from him for decades. Rest in Peace, Michael.
